Its a rumor so can anyone confirm it? when does it start? routing, equip, freq? if so KE will be the first Asian carrier to fly there in a long tme, Thai used to in the late 80's with a 742 and DC10.

It is Helsinki. It will be a 744F used. Just if You ask then, KAL is
not hiring. It will be coverd with the existing crews to secure
theire jobs and positions. Inlcuding the expats. 9 moving into
the B744 Fleet soon from other type.

I heard that the traffic rights have not been approved. Anyone able to confirm?

Why would they not grant rights? its not that Asian carriers are veying to fly to Helsinki so they shouldnt discourage the ones that are interested.

I understand now that Korean are not allowed to uplift cargo in HEL.
