Slightly off the computer/internet line, but recently my wife has had some of the texts on this phone 'corrupted', with part of the message coming in as ASCII characters, mostly squares and 'Chinese' symbols, and the rest of the mx normal. Up to now it has been fine. Anyone else seen this?

Hi there. I am not sure if it can take or recieve pictures but it sounds like someone is sending her a text with a picture in it. I have seen similar, it's all numbers and letters and symbols all mixed up. If it is supposed to take picture messages then it may be that part of it on the blink. If you want, I can send you a picture and you can compare the texts and see if that is the problem. PM me or e-mail me if you would like me to do this for you.
Paul.

Paul - thanks for the idea - we are WELL behind the digital photo-phone thing but it is worth looking into. I'll contact the senders and ask.
PS I'll take a rain-check on the photo!! :p

Same problem here and for sure there is no picture in the message... Happens only sometimes, still no idea what the cause is.

NR - which network are you on? I'm on T-Mobile in UK.

I had this on my T10 when I tried to send messages with more than 120 characters.
