View Full Version : GA representation in the UK

There have been a lot of posts recently on the Flyer list which indicate that GA is not represented in the UK by the existing organisations, including AOPA.
The question is, do you want to do something about this, bearing in mind the fiasco that is the JAA PPL? - do you want a new organisation to represent "grass root" pilots or are you happy with the present situation?

Would there be support for a "new" organisation that could truly represent GA pilots, without being affiliated to any present organisation?

If so...what subscription would you be prepared to pay to support that cause and what sort of activities would you expect?

It would seem that you are correct - 245 people viewed the post, and only you responded.....

What hope does GA have for the future?

Probably the wrong forum for this. Should be in private flying methinks. Also, bear in mind that your average GA pilot won't necessarily know about pprune...
