I have a JAA Frozen ATPL and would like to fly Biz jets. How much of an advantage would it be to have a FAA license?

How easy/hard is it to get the FAA license if you already have JAA?

Can you get it in the UK and if so where?

Thanks for your help.

You can only get your writtens in the UK.

You need a Visa in order to qualify for flight training in the US.
Take something like 3 months to get this Visa.

Be aware the FAA ATP Written does not count for the CPL/IR writtens.

If you do not have the FAA ATP required flight experience, you need to get your FAA CPL/IR.

Here are the two FAA test centers for your country:

NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE SOLOFLIGHT PILOT TRAINING CENTER HUMBERSIDE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Mrs Melanie Stewart

NORWICH AMERICAN FLIGHT TRAINING SERVICE
NORWICH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

SHOCKWAVES...

Listen up please...

Dont really know why someone gave you addresses to get your FAA licence, must have come from a nice will but BEWARE!

The only option for your future FAA licence to be useful is if your type rated on aircrafts(ie bizjets)and have over 500 hours min on it.

I hold an FAA and JAA ATPL, 2000 hours on metros single pilot in the US and still get no answer for an F/O postion from airlines flying them.

Keep your money pal!
