Gentlemen,

Help me on this one: I need a comparison of current biz jets in term of speed, range, price, max pax, cabin layout.
I'm not comparing an Ecplise 500 with a BBJ, but maybe the Challenger with the G5 (or whatever it is called nowadays), the Hawkers with the Beachjets, all those within their own groups. I'm not after scientific data on climb performance after V1,rather some nice tables showing how they all look and feel like and where they all can fly to.

Where can I find such info? Any interresting web site you can recommend?

Many thanks

Million Air FBO in Teterboro, New Jersey/USA, used to have a 'Jet Comparison Guide' available that worked like a slide rule and had small/medium/large jets grouped together for easy comparison of essential data:

Cabin Height/Width/Length/Volume, Cabin Door Height/Width, Baggage Internal/External, Typical Passenger Seating, Range NBAA IFR Reserves (Seats Full/Tanks Full), Landing Distance FAR135, Cruise Speed TAS Maximum/Normal/ Long Range, Block Speed.

The 'Jet Comparison Guide' is about the size of a normal size envelope and presents information on over 60 business aircraft in a very convenient format.

Try contacting Million Air by mail (Million Air, 485 Industrial Avenue, Teterboro, New Jersey 07608, USA), Internet (www.millionairteb.com), or telephone (+1-201-288-5040). Speak to Betsy Wines (Customer Service Manager), Victor Seda or Isabel Ortiz - they are great guys and will sure be able to help you. :ok:

If you are serious about corporate jet information / comparison try Conklin & de Decker. You have to pay for it but it is pretty much everything you need to know. You can get their contact details at www.conklindedecker.com

The Business and Commercial Aviation (B/CA) magazine publishes an annual buyers guide which should answer all you need to know. This years guide came out a couple of months ago, but many fight departments keep their copy, so you should be able to scrounge one.
