Any PI FedExers out there? Was wondering if you could answer some questions about your Manila base.
What's it like to live there? If you don't care for the place would it be possible to commute from somewhere else in Asia?
I have heard that it is not a popular basing so it's easy to get and has faster upgrade times. Is this true? Can a new-hire get sent there right away?
How about the flying itself - is it mostly long-haul back and forth to the U.S. or short hops around Asia?
And one last thing - back before 9/11 FedEx earned a warm place in my heart for letting lowly 135 guys like myself ride their jets all around the world. Any chance of returning to those good ole days?
