Helicopter schools - Integrated course - UK

Hello,

Just as a matter of curiosity: are there any helicopter schools that offer integrated helicopter CPL courses with all ground school completed in a class room in the UK?

Thanks

A quick use of a popular search engine seems to indicate that the CAA do authorise a CPL (H) integrated course and a few different places offer that service.

Castle Air, Phoenix Helicopter Academy, and Aeromega, all come up on the first page of results. As for each of their reputations, I don't know. A phone call to them may well find your answer.

With the relatively low popularity of the CPL(H) compared to the CPL(A), I can't imagine there are many options out there.

Ok thanks. But I'm interested in knowing if there are any helicopter schools that offer full classroom ground school for atpl h helicopters as a full time course. I'm pretty sure Phoenix helicopters doesn't do it. I know them, I converted my faa license with them a few years ago.

Thanks

Neither Castle Air, Phoenix nor Aeromega has ever offered the integrated CPL(H) and Aeromega no longer exists - so much for popular search engines!

So far as I recall, the only integrated CPL(H) providers approved by the UK CAA were Trent, Cabair and Bristow Academy (ex-Helicopter Adventures) of which only the latter survives, although not located in the UK and no longer approved by the UK CAA.

Ok, thanks, rotarywise.
So I am right in assuming that most people, if not all,do their own ground school studies using Capt online or something similar?
