Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

Car insurance

One good thing about being a flying instructor or pilot is cheaper car insurance.
Out of interest I input various professions, vicars, doctors, teachers, etc.
Only farmer was cheaper by a few pounds.

The cheapest quotes were always for aviation related by some 25%.
We must be safe bunch on the roads.

Until you mention that you might need 'airside cover' to reach the flying club car park...
