ICAO licence holder flying G ref outside UK

Can the holder of an ICAO licence fly a G reg aircraft outside of the U.K. on the ICAO licence?

Article 247:

247 Extra-territorial effect of the Order
(1) Except where the context otherwise requires, the provisions of this Order, in so far as they apply (whether by express reference or otherwise):

(a) to aircraft registered in the United Kingdom, apply to such aircraft wherever they may be
So if its valid in the UK, there is no territorial restriction.
