FI Course
Hi Guys,
I'm in the process of deciding where to complete the FI Course and more importantly, what factors I should consider when choosing the school.
I'm currently in the North West but can train anywhere in Europe.
Thanks.
BS

Couldn't recommend Andrewsfield Aviation / Carol Cooper highly enough - excellent standard & quality of FIC training.
Good price, nice club, friendly & professional! But you also have to put the sweat & work in...
Good luck!

ANDREWSFIELD
Andrewsfield - couldn't agree more.
I completed a CRI course earlier this year with Bob Gardener.
Superb, demanding, comprehensive.
Big bonus - no long taxiing or holds - straight on to the grass.
Friendly atmosphere and a great integral restaurant area at reasonable prices.
On site examiner with Carol Cooper but beware, she is no push over.
Be prepared for hard work.

Another vote for Andrewsfield. I did the CRI course with Bob last year, with Carol as the examiner. She can play the part of a numpty student perfectly!
Another advantage of Andrewsfield is that they have a caravan you can use which will save you loads on accommodation costs. I stayed in a Travelodge in great Dunmow (about 3 miles from the field) and got a good rate (about £30 a night I think) by booking well in advance but it would have still worked out pretty costly for a full FI course.
