Instructor takes the lead at the Air Pilots

Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

Instructor takes the lead at the Air Pilots

Great to see that Dorothy Saul-Pooley has become the first woman pilot to become Master of the Honourable Company of Air Pilots. Better still she has pledged to champion flying instruction in her year in office...

“Every pilot, in whatever area of aviation they operate, will have depended at one stage on the skill, judgement and patience of a flying instructor. For over 20 years I have made it my business to champion flying instructors and campaign for improved status for them, to enhance the standards of instruction and to improve standardisation of instruction and training, I am dedicated to continuing this support.”
