Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

Irish examiner/cross credits

Hello all,

I understand that there is are cross credits for MPA IR and SPA IR revalidations, in that an LPC on a 737 can count for a revalidation of an SPA IR as long as you can demonstrate 5 IFR flights and 3 instrument approaches on the SPA Class.

Now having an Irish licence I assume that I would have to either find a company IRE to sign my licence, or send my paperwork off to the IAA every 12 months?

Does anyone know if there are any IAA approved IRE's in the midlands area?
