Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

What the hell are you on.

There's loads in the UK.

Just get on e-mailing them. Have a read of the latest FTN magazine.

I applied to 6 places and got a reply from every single one. Only question was, when can you start?

Places in the FTN,
Aeros,
White Waltham aero club,
Atlantic Flight Training,
Sherburn,
Thruxton,
Almat flying club,
and more more

Jobs

The best thing to do would be to give them a call or find out when the CFI is there and go in person, most CFI's don't bite!

Good Luck!!

Pay, depends where you go really

What do you want? per hour or full time job deal?

If you manage a fixed salary (monthly no matter how little or much you fly) you might get between 15-20K.
I have NOT found out which places will actually pay 20K for restricted FI's.
Restricted can expect something in the 15k mark.

Also perhaps you can find a place that pays a salary plus hourly on top.
I.e. you get paid for 30 hours flying and if you do more than that then it's 20pounds per hour.

If you are willing to move, places in Scotland need people-Cumbernauld-
