Bombardier CSeries CS100 Completes Test Program
Bombardier announced that the CS100 has completed all testing required for Transport Canada Certification. Given the problems encountered with the powerplant and the complexities of their first FBW aircraft, this was after a remarkably short program of just over two years.
Congratulations to the BFTC team!

omg ICT , I think I'm going to have to sit down, this sounds almost like a positive comment for Bombardier. We don't see many of those from anybody at the moment.
Anyway, sincere thanks for your observation!

Tester07,
Thank you for those kind words. The CSeries Chief Pilot posted a poignant photograph of FTV1 flying off to storage in company with FTV4, which was also leaving to be refurbished and sold. They must be pretty confidant they've got all the data they need in the bag.
In the context of Flight Test employment, I wonder if there now will be one of the usual exits of personnel to one of the other Wichita companies or even to Mitsubishi.

CSeries Community Noise Testing
Not normally a test sequence featured in any test program, Community Noise results can make or break an aircraft's entry into service. This video happens to have FTV3 and its crew (primarily the Avionics bird) as it subject. Having worked with them, you could not hope to have a more dedicated and skilled group. Not given the credit due are the dedicated ground troops that turn the aircraft around & keep it maintained and in the required configuration for testing - not an easy task away from home base.
