Question Fan-blade de-icing using PCA

Hi everyone,

in Munich they have installed PCA-Units (pre-conditioned air) at all bridges for A/C climatization. Now there is the idea of using these units for fan-blade de-icing. Has anyone ever seen this at any other Airport before?

Thanks for info!

Yeppers,

Done it with Herman Nelsons, Coldbusters bridge, bridge PCA units...

Nasty rain/sleet turning into snow during some of the mild months up Canada it's not unusual.
