Question for UK-based rotary AOC ops staff - quoting

Evening all,

I am interested in finding out how rotary AOC operators calculate the flight route for the purposes of quoting for a charter flight; for example, do you work out the straight-line distance for each sector and quote on this, do you add a reserve factor etc? Also, do you take into account airspace (excluding the LTMA) when quoting or just assume a direct transit?

Thanks in advance,
