Could some please clarify the following

When filing a Plan using a call sign/Flight number is it mandatory to put the Aircraft Registration. In Box 18

I know it appears a silly Question but I haven't filed a Flight plan for about 8years and just want o clarify he above

Thanks in Advance

Have a look here:

https://contentzone.eurocontrol.int/FPL/

Tick field 18 and then scroll down to REG....

it says:

The nationality or common mark and registration mark of the aircraft, if different from the aircraft identification in Item 7.
In case of a formation flight, all the registration marks shall be inserted after REG/ and separated by a space.

So in short: yes.

Greets from a former customer (very occassionally that was....like 3-4 times a year)
