As well as Jet2 and United. Also, Spanair are long gone now.

Doing the rounds today that Menzies have been given a 30 day improvement notice by flybe. Is it me or is that contract a poison chalice? Both Aviance and Swissport got dragged down by it and were both lucky to survive, now Menzies is suffering and they don't have any contracts to fall back on.

If flybe do pull the plug on Menzies one thing is for sure, their costs for ground handling will go up considerably as both incumbent agents know what it actually costs to do the job!

Improvement notices are handed out almost monthly these days, don't think they actually mean much anymore

Does that mean the AA staff move over to BA too and and does this also mean the AA staff at MAN will be affected in the same way ?

I have read on an Italian forum that Alitalia have sold the ground handling division in Heathrow. The CEO had said about two years ago that they would just keep self handling and third party handling in Rome's hub

Apparently AZ have sold their ground handling to GH which is an Italian ground handling company based in various Italian airports (although not in Rome and Milan):

GH Italia - The Ground Handling Network

Sorried to see another airline that has been operating in Heathrow since so many years exit the ground handling market.

Dnata - BHX

Any truth in the rumour about Dnata which is a major handler at LHR going into BHX to handle parent company Emirates?

Given that DNATA and Emirates are so close, I assume ASIG will be replaced as LHR handler quite soon? Underwing is currently DNATA is that correct?
