God I'm on more than that being a check-in / gate agent!!! That Is extremely shocking! Mind you, I don't work for the same company as what that dispatch is on ;-)

Where I work, dispatchers are the least well paid out of everyone in the company!

Lots of changes happening everywhere then all over by the sounds of things! Cheaper for the airline to contract it to a handler. Are the rest of the LH handling done by a ground handler on self handled at LHR?

Edited my Bristol thread on page one to show that Menzies now handle Titan charters! Again, watch this space for more to be announced!

No not the mail planes anymore, Bristol Airport got rid of them! Its a B737 ad-hoc charter we are going to be operating for business passengers flying out on conferences and European meetings etc and if another airline sub-charters them. Not much, but still something extra

Considering the state of Servisair management, both locally at Manchester and regionally its no surprise we're losing contracts left right and centre 'Cutting back' on things like general staff to ridiculous numbers that can't support the flights we have meanwhile not a single person from management has been up for redundancy, it makes my blood boil

So once in a blue moon then. last time i saw titan was 2 years ago! So probably would get nowhere near the losss of BMI BABY which at least was a regular visitor during the winter.

Well the first flight out of Bristol is meant to take place in June. Then we are meant to be doing quite a few for them after that for the rest of 2012.

The last Titan I can remember seeing in BRS was December 2011, when Easyjet had a couple of tech a/c so chartered their B767 to accommodate two flights worth out to Geneva.

Regards

Speedbird

Menzies now covering all BA T1 ramp work at LHR?

....is this true?

Never thought I'd see anything other than BA liveried kit on BA aircraft at T1.

Is this the start of the demise of BA self handling on the BA ramp at LHR. T5? Is that next?
