Aircraft Registration

Hello
Do you know if there is a way (maybe a website) where you can identify the owner of an aircraft based on the aircraft registration.
I know some civil aviation website offer this service but is there some kind of international database?
thanks
have a great day

You could try this:

GINFO Database Search | Aircraft Register | Safety Regulation

That's only for UK registered aircraft though.

Registration details are available on-line for many countries. Use Google to locate them.
