Training schools

just joined your excellent network and after reading through, wanted some clarification on courses offered by Jepps in different countries as compared to in the United States? Which one is accepted world wide? Is there a major difference in the training techniques and syllabus? Is the course offered by e.g Sheffield Centre approved FAA?

There is the FAA Aircraft Dispatchers License which is specific to the US FAR system of regulation; then there is the ICAO recommended course syllabus which is to the ICAO Doc 7193 D3 Flight Operations Officer/Dispatcher training which is universal and forms the basis for training in countries not using the FAR system of flight dispatch.

I'd go on to Sheffield's website for a complete brief, but yes- they will get you through the FAA license exams.

Flt Ops Courses

Thank you for the advise.
So, the course conducted in Dubai would be favourable for African Aviation Ops?
