Ops Controller - JETSTAR

I am thinking of applying for an Ops Controller job with JETSTAR (AUS). Can anyone provide any information on the following points
- Pay and condtions (typical working hours/days etc)
- Career progession potential

Any info on what is typical for pay and conditions in this role with other carriers in the region would also be appreciated. I am currently working in a similar role with a smaller regional airline in Australia.

Thanks in advance

BUGS

Jetstar, pay and conditions--Excellent conditions you will be expected to work hard but you will be well rewarded.

Career progession potential. Very good

Overall Good systems in place backed up by supportive managment.

Good systems???? Which ones are they. AIMS - crap!, MINISOFT - crap!

Career progression??? Where does an ops controller progress to?

Pay 42K base plus penalties - equated to around 60-65K

Who pulled your leg?....the CEO?

(Geneva) Navitaire is a wonderful tool! What's the difference between AIMS and that pain in the @$$ tool?

If Jet* wasn't based only in MEL it would be worth sticking my hand up. I wouldn't have thought that $60-$65k was a bad place to start either!
