Now I assume this works ok in practice but both runways cant be in use with the ILS at the same time.:ooh:

So assuming seperate ground equipment for each runway and a big switch in the twr to choose 25 R or 25 L etc.

I started writing this earlyer but I think PPRuNe crashed?

A few months ago I visited Swanwick control centre an amazing day - I was wondering if Farnborough did the same thing? - Who's a good person to contact/ ask/ beg/ bribe? - I have started NAV in my PPL training so am talking to Farnborough quite a lot! - Would be cool to see what the area they work in etc is like :}
