Use the msg to get correct fim task. Towards the top will be a list of probable causes.

Just put it into the TSM champ.
HC might be the Heating Control of the P2T2 Sensor.
Do the EEC test of the P2T2 probe to confirm fault.
What a state we are in!

I'm sure he's got his sensor sorted by now but fair question about the meaning of HC. It's not in an Airbus Abbreviations Dictionary (all 99 pages of it!) that I found online or the current A320 AMM abbreviation list that I have access to. You may be correct Torqueman but my quality manager assures me that if I assume anything, or use my experience or logic then the world may explode with catastrophic results!

Oh, and I'm all for people that ask what some might think are silly questions. It's the people that don't ask any that worry me.

Cheerio

You may have to look at the EEC manufacturers manual for the abbreviation.

As stated above, follow the TSM for the given message.
If I remember correctly, HC in this message stands for Harness Connector.
I.E. the harness connectors on the P2T2 sensor and the EEC.

Think you are right and in this instance the PFR means P2T2 sensor or HC or EEC. The system can't differentiate.
I am astonished, and worried, that this elementary fault finding has not been covered on the course.

Woderick/BluFin

What coarse are you referring to? Given the guy/girl has a total of two posts at this point they may be a first year apprentice that's just trying to learn something. Know alls shit me. And when they jump on somebody that's trying to learn something they shit me even more. Did you know it all from birth?

I'm sure in somebodys world HC probably means Harness Connector and in another it means Heat Controller. I reckon in means Hot Chick flight attendant.
