Apprenticeships

I have recently left school and will be beginning my PPL course next month (hopefully)

I have decided to enquire about airline apprenticeships in aircraft engineering. I believe that this could give invaluable knowledge for the future when i begin my professional training.

The only problem is, im not sure whether or not im too late to apply for any of the apprenticeships in the UK.

Does anyone know if this is correct. Id be grateful if someone could help.

Many thanks
