Help with a troubleshooting course
I was asked to help my coleagues and impart a t/s course specific to planes we mantain most, each at a time. I have some material and have and idea the what to teach, but don't have a sylabus or an example on how to make the introduction, bought a book -no help, if my collegues go though the whole book, they will forget how install a nut, book for NASA!
Anyone have a similar course sylabus or any other kind of help?
Many thanks.

Help with a troubleshooting course
Troubleshooting procedures for Boeing and Airbus airplanes are standardized and the engineer need to follow that procedure given in the Maintenance manual(AMM) or troubleshooting manual (TSM). These are quite exhaustive and all of them can not be covered in class room training. You can take a list of commonly occurring faults from your maintenance department or technical services department where records are kept. You can prepare the training manual taking the troubleshooting procedures from AMM or TSM for those commonly occurring faults, this will help trainees and makes the course concise. The trainer and students need to have thorough knowledge of the systems they going to troubleshoot.Need to follow the manufacturer's recommended procedures and safety precautions need to be highlighted in the training.
