Boeing engineers and outsourcing

Boeing engineers give us a real vote of confidence with this aircraft.

Wasnt virtually the entire aircraft, not just the electrical system, outsourced?

This has been the case for years. Landing gear, engines, APU, flight control computers, actuators. Very little of a modern airframe is made entirely in house. Airbus have used multiple partner manufacturing processes for most of their models.
