Simulator Engineer (FFS) Advice

Hi All

My post is about looking for advice about a position I'm currently applying for. It is a Full flight simulator maintenance engineer position with a global leading company in this market.

I'm looking for a current or former FFS engineers through the forum to "pick there brains" about the job. As with this scenario research is key however you can read books on the subject until blue in the face but it is relevant in the job??

I come from an aircraft engineering (Avionics engineering) background with intimate understanding of Airbus and Boeing and Garmin Avionics systems. However this is a new area of expertise to me but something I would love to do.

Any related advice from engineers in this area would be appreciated.
Please PM me.

Adam

Any luck yet?

Ready to work in the middle of the night? Greatest job in Aviation, worst hours ever. Spent 9 years working over night, really hard on the body.
