Converting from HKAR66 to EASA66

At present there is no conversion process for a non-easa member state license to be converted, in short this means that to qualify for an EASA part 66 license you would have to pass ALL(there are certain exemptions for certain degree holders) the exams for the license category sought i.e. B1/B2 or both.

I have both and can tell you that although the HKG system was set up and administered by the UK CAA to EASA standards there is no recognition at this time of the HKAR 66 licence.

Thanks for the info Gents, I thought as much we I started this quest. Looks like I'm stuck where I am until they kick me out or I get a job as a Walmart Greeter!
