aircraft design

I'm interesting in working in aircraft design/aircraft interior design and wondered if anyone had any info on about to go about this. It looks like a course in aerospace engineering might be the way to go but I wondered if anyone had any advice. Do they do distance courses of aircraft design?

Thanks

An aero-eng degree is probably the way ahead for anything except for interiors design - for that a product design course might be more appropriate.

There are no part time courses available in aero-eng in the UK, but a lot of very good full time courses - look at (in no particular order) Southampton, Imperial, Sheffield, Bristol, Loughborough, Kingston, Brunel, Hertfordshire, Salford...
