Civil Aircraft Experience

Hi,

I've just started studying towards my B1 Licence. I've got an apprenticeship and about six years experience on fast jets and I'm currently working for BAE. What I am desperately seeking is some experience on wide bodied aircraft. Does anybody know how I could go about doing voluntary work at an airport, East Midlands if possible!? Even if it's just shadowing somebody, following them around or just holding a torch for somebody! I'm just eager to learn about the industry and gain some experience.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, cheers.
