UK Licence Renewal

Sadly, I no longer work in the Industry and my JAR B2 expires towards the end of 2006. Like everyone else, I worked hard to get my licence and would prefer to retain it though, at present, I will not have the day-to-day experience required. I wonder if anyone here has been in this position and has legitimate suggestions. Type ratings heading for the dustbin include 757, 767 and 747-400.

As these are anonymous forums the origins of the contributions may be opposite to what may be apparent. In fact the press may use it, or the unscrupulous, or sciolists*, to elicit certain reactions.

*"sciolist"... Noun, archaic. "a person who pretends to be knowledgeable and well informed".
