Question Piper PA28/ARROW SPARS

In light of Sundays terrible events is it likely that the CAA(OR FAA)will issue an Emergency Airworthiness Directive for inspection of the main spars on PA28 models?
It appears from eye witnesses the aircraft broke up mid section of the wing ,outboard of the fuel tank.

I believe there is a spar inspection on PA32 series, which involves removing the fuel tank and inspecting the spar for corrosion
