Question Cheap/free tickets for engineers?

What are the tricks to get some good deals on tickets?
I tried it a couple of times but i have to admit my failing.

Any suggestion is welcome!!!

Cheers,

Cool

Use the net bookit shops or Lawsons staff deals.
Better than standby interline etc.
Who wants to wait for last minute to check in with your family, and if you get boarded, get bumped on the way somewhere.

Unhappy

Bought full fare for Missus B last month. She needed a guaranteed seat and it was only twice the price of a 90% sub-load. Got the ticket from the company by the way, not from a "bucket shop." It was a promo-fare available to the general public.

I reckon staff travel has had its day. We should get our employers to jack up the wages and scrap the so-called benefits. If we go any further with fare reductions the customers will soon be on 95% firm anyway...
