Post ATTN John Eacott & others

G'day all,
Just want to say a heartfelt thanks to the guys and gals flying helos in Sydney today and previously. Doesn't really hit home till your own home comes under attack from the fires. Today was one of those days. The Skycrane was simply amazing. Sat on the deck and watched for a good hour or two as he saved about 200 homes with the help of the guys on the ground. Only about one km away. Cheers guys, you have done yourselves proud. Thanks from all on the ground.

Hey Cougar, John and the rest of the guys have been working long long days and I am sure they will appreciate your thoughts.

One thing I think needs to be made public is the fact that Ansett refused to carry their Bambi Bucket from Melbourne to Sydney. It was needed urgently so they could fire bomb the houses but good old Ansett refused point blank to carry it. It was Virgin that came through and helped them out. My personal opinion, I think it sucks that they didnt give a damm about the necessity of the fire fighting equipment. Maybe its a sign of how Ansett is going to be treating the passengers.

Hey Pac Rotors, it's a sign of the f*ck wit managers there. Unless they get rid of them, expect more of the same.

Pac Rotors, it's certainly representative of how they have & continue to treat their staff. Btm, you are right about the managers.

Just out of curiosity I called the Ansett Public Relations people to ask their comments on what happened and you wouldnt believe the line of BS that they gave me. Makes me glad that I changed all my business to Qantas.
