Piece in the Street Talk section (page 20) of the Australian Financial Review on Monday 29/09/08 on a few companies in the region-

Mentions that "apparently" Alliance are:

Quote:

"exploring options through Wilson HTM for a sale, or at least an equity injection."

Forecasting Revenues of $140 million and EBITDA of $38 million- with an Information Memorandum due out in the next couple of weeks.

Quotes "Sources"-

Quote:

"earnings could be forecast with a degree of certainty as most contracts were struck on a three-year basis, and fuel costs were passed on to the customers."

Also Rothschild's advising on the sale of Australian Helicopters.

And "apparently"

Quote:

"New Zealand's aviation leasing business Airworks is also thought to be seeking an equity injection."

TBM- would want to be having a very long hard look at those books before acccepting any $ + debit sort of deal with those roosters.

Interesting though. a 27% gross profit should rate it as one of the more attractive propositions around. Know for a fact that several potential investors were sniffing around several months ago. Which makes me think all is not what it seems.... Funny that.

Good luck on the PE market as advertising always smacks of desperation.
