John Hickey DFC

For those who worked for TAA, John Hickey passed away on 3 Jan .

He was formerly Wing Commander 22 Squadron RAAF, serving in WW2, then later in Flight Ops Management in TAA.

Also President of Collingwood Football Club from 76 to 82.

There is a notice in Melbourne Herald Sun newspaper.

Funeral Mass for the repose of
the soul of Mr John Hickey will
be offered at Sacred Heart
Catholic Church, 116 Cotham
Rd, Kew, on WEDNESDAY
(Jan. 7) commencing at 12 p.m.
Refreshments will be served at
the conclusion of the Service.
The Funeral will then leave for
burial at Andersons Creek
Cemetery, Warrandyte.
