Unfortunately, there are no good hotels near BNE airport.

You'll have to wait a few years. BAC have plans to build one.God knows it's long overdue.

There is a Formula 1 at the roundabout at Airport Drive and the Gateway motorway but that's a couple of kms west of the International terminal and it is not what I consider a good hotel.

Sorry Hedge, but your out of luck mate.

Brisbane Riverview would probably be the closest decent hotel to the airport. Lots of motels in the surrounding Kingsford Smith Drive area, some alright , some a bit seedy.

For better, Hilton, Holiday Inn etc, you will need to go into the city.

There's quite a few crew that stay at The Pegasus, its in Ascot so close to shops/restaurants ect. About 10mins to airport.I would imagine that that fomule1 would be quite noisy given the volume of traffic at airport roundabout?

Not to mention traffic accelerating away from the traffic lights ON the roundabout!

The formulae one Brissy is adequate and external noise is not a problem. The hallways have minimal carpet though; so there echoing of doors slamming etc. If you just want somewhere to crash before interviews then its fine. I wouldn't be using it as a crew hotel though especially if you need to sleep in the day.

If you just want a bed and minimal taxi fare, then try

Comfort Inn Northgate
186 Toombul Rd

Good motel style, resturant etc.
