Copy and paste??

Something weird has occured, I surf a number of websites and often copy interesting links betwixt em.
For some strange reason copy and paste has stopped working, I hightlight the link with me mouse, go to edit click on copy as normal, when I create a post on another website I go to edit and should see paste highlighted normaly I would click on this and the url would appear in my new post, but it doesn't,
I am running win 98, anybody got any ideas??

My machine keeps having cardiac arrests too.

I'm guessing you've done the first aid fix......turn it off and back on again!!

My preferred way of doing that is to highlight the url, or whatever, and then RIGHT click on the highlight, then paste it where you want it.

Sort of carrying 'it' in your mouse to your point of unload.

This is an odd one.

If you can do copy and paste in applications other than Explorer and here in PPRuNe with Explorer, I wonder if it might be that the Site(s) where you find the problem are inhibiting your attempts to paste links.
