Uninstall Chromium

I have Chromium and I want to uninstall it. When I do the necessary in the Control Panel the instruction is acknowledged but nothing happens. Has anyone else had this problem? Help please, itīs really annoying.

When this happens I right click on the programme and then click uninstall. Works for me. I understand entirely why you want to get rid. Total bloatware.

Try CCleaner, use the uninstall from tools menu, then clean the registry. Works every time for me.

Thanks guys but no luck. Used CCleaner to remove Chrome no problem but with Chromium absolutely nothing. The usual "do you really want to do this and why" page doesnīt even appear.

Nil carborundum etc.

I think a visit to my local expert may be in order.
Thanks again to all who offered remedies.

Malwarebytes might be worth a try? Free download at Malwarebytes.org. Shifts most dodgy stuff.

Restart in safe mode, run m`bytes and superantispyware and then go into programmes and uninstall chrome. Sounds to me like you have some PUP`s.
