The answer is do it first, or don't do it. But surely . . .

I wrote a long PM to one of our illustrious members and then decided to InFormEnter my email. It wiped the lot.

I've been caught before, so only myself to blame but one forgeterizes things these days. However, it does seem a barmy thing since InFormEnter is a FF Add-on with years of development.

Any cures - apart from not forgetting?

Undo, no help. No Draft memory on so many enter boxes.

If it's a long reply, and might require a bit of internet searching I write in a text editor in a terminal window and copy/paste after smell chucking etc.

Saves a lot of WTFDTSSDT?

Hmmmm -- Pprune's smell chucker doesn't recognise "internet". Nor "recognise" :-/

I might be wrong but I don't think Prune has a spill chucker - it's provided by your browser. "Internet" is considered a proper noun by some so the lower case "i" is naughty.

I often use EditPad and then Ctrl-C for lengthy text.

But this begs the stock answer: 'Yes, that's true, but why should I have to!?"

By stock answer I mean, one that women say at least once every 28 days.

One is now in hiding.
