Alternate email address
Hello,
logged iinto my email at Barcelona airport, flew to Vienna
and my email will not let me in, but wants to send a recovery
code to my alternate address. All well & good, I travel around
for half the year and am used to this in hotels all over the place.
Suddenly the recovery emails supposedly sent are never received.
I do not have any blocked senders. Anyone have any idea.
Of course the original email provider helpfully just explains the
non-working procedure again.
Many thanks, John

Repeated the experement with a different provider & works fine.
Definitely nothing is blocked. The original xxxmail provider just
repeats the original instructions. Fortunately all my mail is
backed up so I will just change provider. I now know why recent
IT graduates are referred to as IT Monkeys.
(my degree is from 1969, was called computing science, and I
am still up to date (only in my opinion)).
