Video Advice
I need some advice on if it is possible to rotate a MP4 video. Madsmum took a video of some birds on her new bird-bath. The problem is she held the camera upright so when she views the video it is across the screen (i.e. what should the top of the picture is to the left and the bottom to the right, as you look at it). Does anyone know if there a simple way to rotate a video (as one can do with pictures)?

I've twice rotated .mp4 format video with success using Sony Vegas software - but of course the resultant output was square format. I am sure that other products will allow this too but I have no experience of them.
The need to rotate each frame was the same as yours but at least we have some output rather than none - and there were only a few frames with heads chopped off. The rest looks passable as amateur video.

Avidemux (a basic, free video editor) will do it. Look in the "Filters" options under "Video Output". You can do a horizontal or vertical flip, or rotate by 90/180/270 degrees.
