Long standig Progs show as being Reinstalled

Help.
I am confused.!!!
Looking at my prog. listing I can see that it shows loads of longstanding (3-4 years) Progs. as being installed as recently as just over two weeks ago.

How can this be?
I was looking at a problem with Photoshop CS3 hanging up on trying to close it.
Any help on this problem would be most appreciated.

Running Windows 10.
Only straw I am clutching is that there was a long winded session of System updates awhile ago.
Any possible connection?
With thanks for any info.

Amongst all the ordure flung in the general direction of Win10, I recall seeing complaints that upgrading to it "disabled" or removed some programmes. This was supposedly due to incompatibility issues, but many tech posts said that it was more a case of MS trying to oust competition. I think they had to back down, and most of these actions were subsequently reversed by later updates. I also saw many reports these programmes didn't always work properly afterwards, and folks had to re-install. This might explain your observations?

However, I may be wrong...

There was a major update to the Windows Installer itself very recently, although I don't know if that caused the symptoms that you see.
