Airline IT Jobs

Is there anyone of you out there that work for an airline in their IT department. Do you know of any jobs going in the future and what sort of qualification and experience the company looks for.

Cheers

Thanks What_does_this_button_do? I have had a look and will keep them in mind. They seemed to have only one vacancy at present in Australia, but will keep an eye on them.

cheers

Negative JAVA.
SITA London are desperate for bods to work in the surface weather NOTAM and flight planning dept.

Drop a CV to [email address]

You will need to have a background or good understanding of flight operations and aviation generally.

Good luck!

SITA - hmmmm. Interesting history, and yes a good starting point. However, I would be a little hesitant about applying to them. Extremely large network, but generally not leading edge technology. Very complex structure due to their links with Equant and France Telecom. As a result, politics make any dealings with them, be it as an employee or customer, very difficult. Not an attempt to knock SITA as they have done great things for the airline community i.e. setting standards, development of products etc.

I have other experience in the IT sector wrt aviation so please drop me an Email as I would like to assist.

Kind Regards

LL
