I saw something like that on one web site I used to visit, refusing to display unless I enabled the ads. I never went back.

Seriously? Most people using ad blockers are techo's who will be able to work around these things if required.

Probably their first point of call would be to go to an alternative website, so the anti-adblock site would lose traffic and relevance.

Otherwise they would dig into it and block the block.

Total waste of time.
