How to unlock an IPad without the original computer available
Mrs EW has locked hers by changing, then forgetting, the access code to her IPAD...2 years old....can't recall which iteration it is.
The original computer that she synced it with is dead. Does anyone have an idea how to let her back in to her device?
Thanks
EW

You can only reset the iPad and start it from scratch again unless a computer backup is available. Any programs or music that you may have purchased can still be restored from the iTunes or iApp stores so long as you can remember the user name and password used to originally download them to the device.
If you have made an iCloud backup, then that can be restored after the iPad has been reset so long as you can remember the log in details for the iCloud account.
Worse case scenario, you still have a working iPad, just with no software apps, music or personal data on it - Just like it came out of the factory.
