I have just taken up a 'good deal' Internet TV connection with my ISP giving me a YouView+ box wired to my router (mind you, apart from the nice HD access, the PVR and the 'catch-up' functions, the other 'new' internet based channels seem to be mostly American dross....). Had to 'wrestle' with my Billion router setup to get it to work (not using ISP provided router).
'Scuse the ignorance, and I have yet to look at my network, but presumably the device will have a MAC code and IP address, so can I stream from my PC to it and if so, how? Any search pointers welcome.
Why does the box not show in Network? I now have MAC and IP details.
