mixture's posts can come over as being rather blunt sometimes but he's helped me in the past and I'm really glad that he posts on this forum, he really does know his stuff, Stuart.

Rather blunt? The guy's got issues that's likely described in detail in DSM-5. Normal it isn't.
As I have said on here a million times.....
Pay me for my advice and you'll get nice friendly hand-holding waffle and a 20 page report afterwards.
Expect me to come on here, at my own initiative, unpaid ... the advice will be 100% technically accurate ... but I will get straight to the point with no waffle.

Not a personal attack as no one mentioned but if the cap fits........
Its not all about you. No one is expecting you to come on here, or any other thread where you are appear as an expert on all things, in your rude and brusque manner calling people morons or idiots.
I am sure there are many friendlier and just as helpful ppruners to fill the void.

It was a generic term targeted at anyone who thinks its a wonderful idea to sit on their phone and then fail to comprehend why they've broken it through their own sheer stupidity and ignorance of fundamental physics.

I've got a problem with my iPhone 6, when I try to sync it to my Mac laptop it says this phone needs the latest version of iTunes, obviously I have downloaded the latest version, when I try it with my other Apple devices it's fine, any ideas please, thanks Stuart.
Apple's name is now Verboten in the Ancient house. They have, without either consultation or information, removed the best bit of an iPad. So I am told.
Words like arrogant, thoughtless and useless are the mild ones. A quick google produces many many irate people.
Camera roll has been killed off by the goons that do software. I bet none of them were female and that none of them ever left California, not even to go to Austin.
Camera roll was the essential method for global families and friends to stay in touch. I am told.

Couple of things....
- Could you confirm the version of iTunes (iTunes menu -> about)
- If you go to Applications -> Utilities -> Console, does anything of interest pop-up when you plug in your phone and/or try to connect it to iTunes ?
