SONY XPERIA SP PROBLEMS

Hi folks, if you thought it was a good idea to get a Sony Xperia SP mobile, do you now have the same problem as I?

The particular Model number is C5303 with the Android operating system.

A few weeks ago I received notification that a software update to Android 4.3 was available so I proceeded to install this as directed. The result at first looked good and the various displays were much better to look at. What was very pleasing was that I'd managed to get rid of a load of apps I don't use and in particular Farcebook and Tw@tter! Previous attempts to do this had proved fruitless. The battery lasts longer and charges quicker as a further bonus.

However, the down side to this upgrade was a bug that shows numerous email "received notifications" but the emails themselves do not appear in the "inbox".

This is a fault that others have experienced as comments and requests for help have been placed in a number of online forums (or fora if preferred).

Has any Pruner experienced this problem with their mobile I wonder, and found a fix for it?

Thanks

MTB
